Youth Ministries includes all young people in grade 7 through High School. A Steering Committee facilitates the curriculum and activities for these young people. The Youth Program uses a curriculum developed by the Episcopal Church called "Journey to Adulthood" which focuses on developing skills and attitudes that adults use in their daily life. The groups meet on Sunday morning in the Rectory for class time and often have social activities throughout the year. There are opportunities for mission work as well as socializing with others.

The young people often take week-end mission trips as a way of serving others. Diocesan events include Happening and various conferences throughout the year. Young people also get together occasionally for lock-ins and activities on Sunday afternoons.

This year, young people in the second year of the J2A program will have the opportunity to confirm their baptismal vows in the sacrament of Confirmation. Instruction will be provided in four retreats with Confirmation on September 24, 2006 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Iowa City. Christ Church and Trinity Church are jointly planning and implementing the Confirmation process.
