Small Groups at Christ Church
This is the page on a church website that should be in continual "construction" -- and this is indeed the case at Christ Church. We have a lot happening here!
Some of our long-standing groups include the Women of Excellence (social group for women over 60), the Bodacious Women (Bible Study group for all women -- there are other Bible study groups listed in the Sunday School section of the website) and the Men of Whatever (men's social group). We also have a group of Stitchers who get together to share their creative work and the Pastoral Care ministry sponsors a Prayer Shawl Ministry. The St. Siskel's Guild meets for a monthly movie night. And monthly, the women of the church gather on a Wednesday night for GEMS: Giving Empowers My Sisters, where finger foods are enjoyed and a collection is taken for a woman in need.

FOOD, and More Food
Ever heard of the Church of the Open Mouth? Come to Christ Church and you'll see what we mean. Whenever we have the opportunity, we eat together.
On a regular basis, this means the 1st Monday Suppers, the "Third Friday" Suppers, (which actually usually happens on a Thursday, and sometimes a Monday), our Wednesday Suppers (on the 2nd and 4th of the month), the Second Saturday Supper (after the 5:30 worship, usually the 2nd Saturday of the month)
Whenever we can find an excuse, we'll throw a potluck together. Oktoberfest. June Parish Picnic. Any kind of celebration. Come and join the party!
