Working in partnership with the worldwide Church, ecumenical agencies and local organizations, Episcopal Relief & Development saves lives and strengthens communities around the world.

Episcopal Relief & Development programs focus on the following areas:

• Promoting Health and Fighting Disease

• Responding to Disasters and Rebuilding Communities

 

An International Agency at Work in Cedar Rapids.

In response to the 2008 flooding experience in Cedar Rapids and throughout Iowa, Episcopal Relief & Development stepped up with practical and financial support. ERD continues to fund programs at work in rebuilding our communities.

ERD is a program of the national Episcopal Church.

MaryLee Meehleder is our parish representative.

Special collections are usually in early Lent and late November. (This is called an ingathering).

You can also financially support ERD through the Gifts for Life program.

ERD is a Jubilee Ministry. The JM Commission meets usually on the fourth Monday of the month at 7 p.m.
