Herb Bread supports Jubilee
Sales of herb bread have been a longstanding tradition at Christ Episcopal Church. Each October and November orders for this delicious buttered bread are taken from church members and friends. Volunteers spend a morning or an evening, shaving crusts off of specially made round loaves of bread and then slicing and buttering each loaf carefully with a secret herb recipe! Jubilee Ministries identifies where the proceeds of each year’s sales will go and in the past have included our Summer Reading Camp, Swaziland Neighborhood Care Points, a community outreach ministry, and Christ Church Youth mission trips.
