FOOD PANTRY

The Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry is source of food, fellowship and friendships for our community.  During 2004, the pantry served nearly 400 households per month.  In addition to a variety of foods, fruits and vegetables, donated toys and blankets are often distributed.

 HOURS OF OPERATION:   3:30 p.m. -- 5 p.m.  TUESDAYS

LOCATION:  The new pantry is located at 1251 3rd Avenue.  Click here for directions.   

POTENTIAL TO GROW:  To better serve the community, the pantry is considering expanding to include later afternoon/early evening hours on Thursdays.

"But," Stephanie adds, "we will need more     volunteers."  Training for the food pantry is on-the-job; Tuesdays between 3:30 and 5 p.m. You may speak with her or Edie beforehand for specifics.
